I’ve decided to start a new band with my partner, who is also a musician!
As two musicians living together, it was of course kind of unavoidable that we would start making music together as well. We already played informally as a duo at a medieval event organised by a friend, and we even already got booked for a wedding a couple of months ago, by a bride and groom who wanted bagpipe players at their ceremony! Things developed quickly after that, so now we’ve got a name, logo and website!
We want to become a rather versatile band that can play at festivals, historical events, parties, and more. Our main focus is on folk and historical music, and we will be playing on instruments like bagpipe, hurdy-gurdy, cittern/bouzouki, guitar, recorder, and violin – and we will also sing!
